A proud native to Los Angeles, Jaime has always shown a strong interest in architecture and design. During his childhood, Jaime had the privilege of working in the Upholstery shop that his father still has for over 30 years. Along with the support of his family, in 2010 he followed his passion to design and build structures in the city he came from.

Born to Arturo and Silvia Zavala in 1991. Jaime always played in the dirt at home and created shelves and other pieces of furniture at his fathers shop. Both Arturo and Silvia raised a family of 5 children including Jaime. There is Sylvia, Gabriela, Arturo and Oscar. Jaime attended El Camino College to achieve his dream to become an Engineer. Later to findout that the interest he had was a lot stronger in the field of architecture. To achieve his passion Jaime then decided to transfer to Woodbury University for a degree in architecture. While at Woodbury University, Jaime worked in the making complex as a Fabrication Technician.

After his time at Woodbury Jaime joined Kevin Tohill Associates, a residential firm in Simi Valley, California. Through the years Jaime has gained the experience to lead a project from schematic design to completed project. The projects that Jaime has worked on range from patio covers to custom estates. Jaime continues to do work for Kevin to gather more experience to better serve you.

With the strong passion of residential design, Perpetual Scale has the forethought of participating in the yearly event called "Project Mercy" where homes get designed and built for families in need in the city of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Furthermore, the main driving factor of this company is to make the city of Los Angeles a better place to live in for low income communities such as the one where Jaime grew up in.
